I get frustrated yes. Who doesn't?

Do i wanna Shoot or Gkick ppl for mistakes no. Happens in any game, i come up with something, and ppl can't or do not execute it. I get frustrated, this is further amplified when other partial ideas are suggested without the original ever getting really tryed.

Think of yogg, the tons of diffrent little things that could make that whole encounter go wrong. When done correctly it feels easy and smooth.

Always open to suggestions, but if your presentation sucks your ideas are incomplete save it think it out and then bring it up.


By WTF is the fascination with standing by the table for putricide ? The extra 4 seconds of dps time after phase changes?

I'm so used to moving at this point of Wrath that you can pull Archavon non-stop up and down that place, and it'd barely phase my DPS. I suspect nearly all of the melee are this way by now, so "Standing" is an odd concept to me. =P

Do massive damage: Check
Avoid all incidental damage: Check
Dance around like a Ballerina: Check

Hell, it's a good thing I'm not an Officer or anything, 'cause I'm not nearly as patient as Glorc and everyone else... though I do suppose a lot of my ideas about how things go do kind of push the label of "casual" raiding guild a bit further than most would think of it.

What frustrates me most, though, is stuff happening that's out of my control. If I make a mistake, of the time I own up to it right away, but when an encounter glitches, or RNG screws us over... there's no one and nothing to blame, and often nothing that could've prevented it. Like oozes refusing to merge on Rotface, or Malygos' old arcane farts that we all were so very fond of.

Surprisingly, and fortunately, though, what I've seen in ICC is certainly not what I expected from the endgame raid. It's not bringing out the worst in people, it's not causing endless arguments, nothing like that. In fact I remember a few times both in 10 and 25 where there were wipes or deaths that had Vent filled with everyone laughing. And wiping constantly on Festergut for those two or three weeks was worth it just to see us down him and his slimy brother in the same night. Putricide, supposedly the hardest of the wing bosses, isn't a pushover, but we're definitely making progress on him - and we barely spent an hour on him so far.

Well, I really don't know what brought on this kinda long... not quite a rant, just a bunch of rambling, but anyway.

I doubt we'll be seeing many volleyballs flying at peoples' heads in raid, but I definitely want to see us down Arthas eventually, 'cause I know y'all want that Frost Wyrm alllmost as badly as I do, right?

i think you guys kinda missed the point in stress posting the video. It was meant as a visual representation of what he deems glorc's role to be during raids....THE GRUMPY RAID LEADER. The guy that gets frustrated and spits out the random grumpy one liners when shit goes wrong. The guy that keeps most of us in check when he does it. That being said I'd have to agree with stress when i say that, that video nails what i see in glorc during raids and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep doin what you do glorc, cause its exactly what the guild needs!

There could be an idiot known as Mysterypants running around trying to tank things without Righteous Fury, who taunts at the wrong time, says idiotic things in Vent and raid chat, or curses an instance for not dropping an item. THAT would suck out loud.
